Planting vines 🍇... Stage 2
Each individual vine needs supporting with a metal rod and protecting with a plastic tube. The tubes create a secure microclimate for the vine, also protects it from Rabbits & Deer having a cheeky nibble 🌱

Planting Vines 🍇... Stage 1
The vines are in, one whole plot has been planted with #chardonnay. Next up is #pinotnoir, which will be blended with the Chardonnay to create our sparkling wine 🍾We have also planted #pinotmeunier which will be blended to make our Sparkling Rosé. These are the big three. We have also planted #souvigniergris and #frühburgunder also known as Pinot Noir Précoce.

10 acres of ground has been subsoiled, fertilised and nearly ready to go.
Vines going in are Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.

The Grass is Always Greener...
We had to say farewell to the sheep as they went to pastures new, and our grass became a little overgrown!. Some cows on the field next to us, seized the opportunity for some nice lush grass and made their way into our field. Definitely a new experience for us all.
Operation emergency fencing, Team Lewis did a pretty good job, even made a bench out of the left over logs. Clever guys!
Michael finally got a lawn mower, is now starting to live the dream

Sheep... Fantastic lawn mowers, incredibly friendly, also known to get heads stuck in fences and escape. Thanks to our amazing neighbour who rescued them from the local Church 🐑
